We are really going to start emphasizing Music History here at the Institute. Knowing the composers and the history behind each piece helps the students interpret it well. World of Music is a program at Texas Music Teachers Association that focuses on just that information. Two students from Katy Institute of Piano earned Gold Medals this past April. They were Saniya and Riddhima. Well done, girls!
Texas Music Teachers Theory Test

Three student from Katy Institute of Piano earned medals at the State Theory Test! Congratulations to Saniya and Connor for earning a Bronze medal. And, a round of applause for Larissa for earning a gold medal. They represented the Institute well.
